Hi everyone today I am going to be reviewing a new favourite of mine. I had seen people talking about this shampoo and conditioner duo on a group I am in on Facebook and I decided to pick it up next time I was in store as I had heard that Banana shampoo and conditioner is good for your hair. I went into Poundland the day after and found them, they had a hair mask too which I didn't pick up but I will be getting the mask next time I am in store. 

My hair is very dry and wavy and pretty damaged from the heat and all the dying I have previously done to my hair. I was a long term lover of the L'Oreal Elvive range trying out the different ones they brought out but since leaving my retail job I haven't picked them up. 

I have to say I am not a fan on the scent but I knew that was going to be the case because I am personally not a fan of anything banana related but I was desperate to try and thought if it is good for my hair I can ignore the smell. As soon as I put the shampoo on my hair I could feel the difference in this one to the one I previously was using as that one dried my hair out so much. When I applied this shampoo my hair felt so soft and healthy straight away. When I applied the conditioner I ran my fingers through my hair before rinsing it out and my hair was feeling the softest it had felt for a while. 

My hair is so knotty and no matter how much I brush it, as soon as water gets on it, it manages to find itself knotty again, so being able to run my fingers through my hair whilst it was wet was already a good sign. I let my hair dry and then brushed it through again once it was dry and the brush glided through my hair with ease. 

I am so pleased I found these and I am 100% buying the mask and I will be repurchasing these too, I also seen they had a few other ones that I may give a go too.

A Look Back At My 2013 Beauty Favourites

 Hi everyone, today I am going to throw it back 2013 and show you the products I loved back then, that I spoke about all the time on my old blog and whether or not I would try them again or if I still use them. 

Sadly I don't currently have any of the products anymore since moving house a few times I ended up getting rid of a huge load of my old makeup, so I will be having to find the pictures of these from online! 

1. Maybelline Babylips- This was a blogging favourite back in the day! Everyone was talking about it and I think pretty much everyone owned at least one of these. I know these are discontinued now as over time I have worked at Superdrug for just under 4 years and we still had people coming in asking for it! I loved mine, I had the pink one and the neon pink one. If they brought these back out I would 100% try it again.

2. Avon Magix Face Prerfector- This was my go to face primer! I haven't used this in years.  Back when I loved this I didn't really understand primers I just know I loved the texture of this one. I probably would try this again just to see if it is as good as I remember. 

3. Maybelline Colour Tattoo- Here we are with another blogger favourite. Everyone loved this too. I remember I had a few of the colours but my favourite was On and On Bronze. I used to wipe this on with my finger and leave it. I wouldn't even blend it in! The thought of that makes me cringe now! I don't think I would try these again as I like having products that I can work with and as far as I remember these are so hard to work with.

4.  Benefit They're Real Mascara- I don't even think I need to say much about this mascara because I bet you have already tried this. I loved it and still do, I haven't used it in a while but that was only because when I worked for Superdrug I liked to use the products they sold instead. I think I will have to repurchase this soon, maybe even the new one that they have recently brought out.

5. Sinful Colors Nail Varnish- Oh wow, I owned pretty much every single colour in these nail varnishes, I don't remember how good they were but I was obsessed! I think I owned over 20+ of these. I would love to try them again but I am not sure where to get hold of them now.

6. Soap and Glory Peaches and Clean Cleanser- I only bought this cleanser because so many people raved about it but I know I hated the smell of it, even now I remember the smell of it and it still doesn't appeal to me. I like the cleanser itself but the smell will always put me off trying this cleanser again. I think I only used it so much because it was so popular.

7.  Revlon Lip Butter- This was another product I owned loads of, I had so many of these and I loved them. I loved how moisturising they were and that they gave you the colour of a lipstick too. I really want to get my hands on one of these again and give them another go. I am going to have a look and see if I can find them online.

8. Collection Cream Puff Lip Cream- Yet another product I was obsessed with. I think they only had 4 colours in these and I bought all 4. I loved how thick and creamy they were whilst offering a really good colour pay off too. I personally wouldn't want to try these again as my preference in lip products have completely changed now. 

9. Rimmel Stay Matte Powder- My holy grail powder, I don't actually think I have ever properly stuck to any other powder, I always go back to using this one. I just love it, I always go for the translucent shade. I have probably owned about 10 of these in my makeup life time. I think this will be a favourite of mine for a very long time.

10. MUA Power Pout- I was obsessed with these too, mainly again because I loved the texture of these as they were creamy. This was when MUA had only just launched and everything was so cheap, £1 eyeshadows? They had them! I wore these just as much as my Revlon lip butters. I don't think these are something I would go back to using again though. They were a favourite back then but not something I would jump at to try again.

I really enjoyed looking back at my old beauty favourites, I might have to make this a series of looking back at my old favourites!

My Blogging Past

 Hi everyone, today I thought I would do a post talking about my blogging past. Back in around 2012 I set up a blog called 'The Secret Blogger' I named it that as I wanted to stay anonymous, I didn't want people in my real life to know about my blog. I wouldn't say I was embarrassed about my blog, but I was bullied in school and I knew if they found out it would be something else for them to bully me about.

Back when I first started my blog I was in and out of hospital with health issues and also battling with mental health due to being in and out of hospital all the time. My blog was my little escape and a place I could come to and just write whatever I wanted. 

Throughout my final year at school I was throwing out blog posts every single day whilst doing my GCSE's and I loved it. I decided to rebrand and changed the name to 'Makeup with Keira,' makeup was my passion and I was getting ready to head off to do beauty at college. 

During the summer between school and college, all I did was blog. My blog started to pick up and I had a decent amount of followers and views per post. I started earning money through my blog, it wasn't a lot but at 16 it was amazing. I even did a few sponsored posts for a few companies too.

I was sitting on my instagram one night when I got a follow request from an account that was just called beauty blog, or something like that, no posts, picture or bio, I checked the followers out and seen it was just all the girls who bullied me in school. My stomach dropped because I knew they had found my blog. I panicked and logged into my blog and deleted everything, all my hard work over the last year I deleted. 

A week or so later I was in my work at the time when they came in and purposely came to my till and started saying a lot of nasty things about me and my blog, saying I was too ugly to blog, blogs are for losers and stuff like that. I took it all to heart and thought to myself there was no way I could ever get back into blogging again.

I look back now and think, if I hadn't stopped blogging, I wonder where my blog would be now? Blogging is something I always loved and I wish I hadn't thrown it away over some nasty people who would pick on me for whatever reason they wanted.

So here I am, back in the blogging world and hopefully this time I am here to stay!

3. How long have you had your pet? 1 month.
4.  How did you get your pet? I bought him from a lovely local breeder.
5. How old is your pet? 3 months. He is a Christmas day baby.
6. What is your favourite memory with your pet? The day I brought him home. I sat cuddling him in the car. 
7. What is a quirky thing about your pets personality? His resting bitch face. He just death stares the whole time.
8. What does your relationship with your pet mean to you? I love how if I'm not in a good mood I can attempt to get cuddle up to him. If he lets me!
